What is Ishtirak?

An app that helps you track and manage your digital subscriptions in one place, with reminders before renewal dates.

Data we collect

You can use the app as a guest (data stored only locally on your device) or with an account to sync your data. When you create an account, we collect:

• Account info: name, email, and password (to create your account and sign in).
• Subscription data: service names, amounts, billing cycles, dates, and notes you enter.

We do not collect your location, contacts, or messages.

Statement analysis feature (optional)

If you use the automatic detection feature, the app extracts text from a statement file you choose and sends it to OpenAI solely to identify recurring subscriptions. Processing is real-time; we do not store your statement on our servers. This processing is subject to OpenAI's privacy policy.

Where your data is stored

• Locally on your device (guest mode and some settings).
• Google Firebase (Firestore + Authentication) to securely sync your account data.

Third-party sharing

We do not sell your data. We only use service providers to operate the app:

• Google Firebase — authentication and account data storage.
• OpenAI — statement text analysis when you use the optional feature.

Account & data deletion

This applies to the Ishtirak app (developer: Abdulaziz Al-Hammadi — aziz.ai).

Steps to request deletion of your account and data:

• Email me@aziz.ai from the address registered in the app.
• Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request — Ishtirak".
• We'll verify your identity and delete your account within 30 days.

Data that will be permanently deleted: account info (name, email) and all your subscription data (names, amounts, dates, notes) stored in your account.

Retention: data is permanently deleted upon processing and not retained afterward, except where briefly required by law. You can also delete any subscription inside the app instantly at any time.

Data security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and account data is stored in Google Firebase's secure infrastructure.
